法国雷恩国立应用科学学院（INSA-RENNES）Kidiyo Kpalma教授于9月19日访问了yh533388银河，作了关于图像分析与解释（Image analysis and interpretation）的学术报告，并将进行为期两周的授课。

9月19日晚6点半，学术讲座在信息学院4楼报告厅进行。由杨明强副教授主持，参加讲座的有江铭炎副院长、图像处理专业方向的相关教师、高年级研究生以及选修图像处理课程的学生。简单介绍和欢迎之后，Kpalma教授同样表达了法国方面的好客，然后开始了精彩的授课。Kpalma教授的课程安排灵活连贯，注重基础且有许多直观的例子，大家受益匪浅。

此次Kidiyo Kpalma教授受信息学院杨明强副教授邀请，作为yh533388银河流动岗位特聘教授第一次来yh533388银河讲学，并参加yh533388银河110周年校庆活动，旨在进一步加强双方已建立起的合作联系，推动双方在信号处理等领域的学术交流。

Kidiyo Kpalma 教授于1988年在法国雷恩第一大学（University of Rennes 1, France）获得信号处理专业的硕士学位，于1992年在雷恩国立应用科学学院（INSA-RENNES）获得了博士学位。 1994年起，他成为INSA-RENNES的副教授，并讲授信号方面的多门课程。

此次课程作为选修课，课程将包括讲座和实验两部分，实验软件将完全采用法国INSA-RENNES学生同步使用的实验系统。课程内容介绍：

Image analysis and interpretation

Lectures are dedicated to "Image analysis and interpretation". These lectures will enable attendees to apprehend the essential aspects of digital image analysis and understanding. Image analysis consist of extracting useful and meaningful information so that to help the user understand the content of the image. This information may be extracted directly from the image itself or from its transform. Exercises will be developed in parallel, on one hand at the blackboard and on the other hand with dedicated software.
